Center for Resolutions

Center for Resolutions is located in Media, Delaware County. It also offers services and training in Chester County. Trainings cover both basic and advanced mediation skills. In addition, the program provides training for school programs and Youth Aid Panels.

Lancaster Mediation Center

The Lancaster Mediation Center is a private, not-for-profit organization supported in part by the County of Lancaster, the Lancaster Bar Association Foundation, and individual contributors. The Center uses volunteer mediators to help people resolve disputes by problem-solving. LMC offers mediation training to mediators, businesses, religious organizations, social service agencies, government, schools, and the public.

40 Hour Basic Mediation Training for Professionals
Next session March 7-9 and 14-18, 2008 (all day Fri.-Sat.; Sun. 1-5)
Basic Mediation Training for Professionals for those who aim to serve as mediator with skills, concepts, ethics, and knowledge called for by the national Model Standards of Conduct for Mediators for a facilitative problem-solving model of mediation. An interactive, practice-based training. using simulation, exercises, lecture, and group process. All trainees will simulate at least three disputes as mediators.
Accredited for PA CLEs: 40 hrs (38 substantive & 2 ethics)

40 Hour Divorce and Custody Mediation Training for Professionals
Next session Mar 28-30 and April 4-6, 2007 (all day Fri.-Sat.; Sun. 1-5)
Divorce & Custody Mediation Training for Professionals for those who aim to serve as divorce or custody mediator with a facilitative problem-solving model of mediation. The training covers all as
pects from intake to writing a memorandum of agreement, including property division, spousal and child support, and parenting in a legal framework. lays a foundation for building on individual style to provide effective mediation service.
Accredited for PA CLEs:

Montgomery County Mediation Center

MCMC practices and trains in the Transformative Model of Mediation. Trainers have received advanced trainer training under the direction of Joseph P. Folger, Ph.D., author of "The Promise of Mediation," and Dorothy Della Noce of the Institute for the Study of Conflict Transformation at Hofstra University.

30 Hour Basic Transformative Mediation Training

40 Hour Family Mediation Training

(Meets the requirements of the Montgomery County Custody Mediation Program)

Issues of Capacity in Mediation

Workshop provides screening tools for identifying the presence of domestic violence, substance abuse, mental illness and capacity issues related to aging or disability. Learn how to create a safe and productive mediation experience.

The Peace Center

Managing Conflict in your Life

Presented in two six-hour sessions. Workshop participants examine and experience conflict management; learn how to communicate effectively; experience working and communicating effectively with others; and examine the effect of our values in conflict situations. The objective of the workshop is to provide participants with new life skills based on mutual respect for ouselves and others.
